Stewart brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and strategic planning capabilities as a former United States Marine Corps Officer and Naval Aviator selected to fly the MV-22 Osprey. Following his time in the Marines, Stewart was instrumental in leading the rise of Kentucky’s soaring aerospace industry as the Executive Director of the Kentucky Aerospace Industry Consortium designed to unite, promote, and grow aerospace and defense manufacturing. Stewart graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Business Finance.
Stewart married the love of his life Danon in 2018 and together they have two children, Tripp and Lilly (with one more on the way). As a family they love to be outdoors, travel and go to UK games. They also strive to get more involved in the local community through various non-profits, ministries, and church functions at Southland Christian Church. Danon runs Purposeful Play Lex, a sensory exploration class for infants and toddlers. As a former teacher she has a passion for helping children learn and encourage their natural curiosity.
