Kristin Smith is the Associate Branch Manager of the Lexington and Danville Kentucky offices. She joined Baird in 2013 where she worked as a Client Specialist on a Wealth Management focused team for five years. In 2018 Kristin accepted a role as a consultant with Baird’s Branch Productivity and Development team. Her primary focus in this role was to provide ongoing training and development to the Client Specialists as well as being a liaison between the PWM branches and our Client Resource Groups. During that period Kristin created a training platform for onboarding Hilliard Lyons team members and other new associates who joined the firm. The relationships she built during that time afforded her the opportunity at the end of 2021 for her and her family to move to Lexington to be part of the leadership team here. Kristin currently holds the Series 7, 66, 9, and 10 licenses. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Kyle, and son, Kalon, golfing and traveling.
